Video Let users play videos with consistent presentation and responsive layout
  • Use Cases: Displaying a video hosted in Wistia and selected by editors.
  • Dependencies
    • Wistia. The Video requires a Wistia video in order to play.
  • Cover Types:: A thumbnail image can be set for the video cover or it can display the Wistia general player layout
  • Play Types: The video can be played when clicked by the user or set to auto-play in the page.
Creating a Video Media
  1. In Content Editor, create a "Video Medias Folder" under the "_datasources" of your page
  2. Create a new Video Media item from the Video Media template.
  3. Fill in the required fields
    • Wistia ID
  4. Fill in optional fields: Video Title, Video Thumbnail Image, etc
  5. In Experience Editor, insert the Video Media rendering into the awt-container (or any component which accepts a Video, for example: Standfirst Article).
  6. Associate the Video Media item as the data source.
  • Manual Play: The user has to click to play the video
  • AutoPlay: The video is automatically played in the page
  • There are currently no known issues with this component
