    • Hero promotions: Rotate featured campaigns, product launches, or seasonal messages on home/landing pages.
    • Product showcases: Display product variants, bundles, or top sellers with images, short copy, and CTAs.

    • ⚠ Requires a Slide data item for rendering within the Carousel

     

  • Interval Between Switching: Time (ms) in between moving from one slide to another 
  • Image : Defines the background Image of the Carousel.(required)
  • Background Color : Background Color of the Carousel 
  • Title and Body Text : Title and Description of the Slide (required)
  • CTA Link : Link to detailed page

Creating a Carousel
  1. In Content Editor, create a "Carousel Folder" under the "_datasources" of your page
  2. Create new Carousel from Carousel template
  3. Fill Interval Between Switching and Image
  4. Carousel Folder-Carousel - Create a new Slide from the carousel item template.
  5. Fill in the required fields
    • Title
    • Image
    • CTA Link
  6. Maximum of 5 carousel items allowed (anymore, and another component should be used - e.g. cards)
  7. In Experience Editor, insert the Carosuelr endering into the awt-container (or any component which can be placed inside the awt-container)
  8. Associate the Carousel as the data source.
