- Use Cases: Used to list a number of references, is mostly use at the bottom of a page. The data source need to have a root folder, from where the data source will point to, and under this root folder it will contain a list of items, where each item represent a new reference line. The title of the list will be on the root folder, and each reference item will contain it`s description
- Dependencies
- The Reference contains a list of items inside the reference folder. If Reference does not contain any Reference field value in the data source item, it will not render
- Ordered lists will ensure the reference numbers will be automatically added
Creating a Reference
- In Content Editor under Global Folder create References Folder (if already created skip this).
- In Content Editor under Global Folder → References Folder create References Root item.
- Under Global Folder → References Folder → References Root item create Reference item.
- In the created Reference item add Reference field value by pressing the "Show editor" link.
- In the Experience Editor press "Add a new component" button and press "Add here" at the needed placeholder ("awt-body", "awt-bottom"). In the Select a Rendering window select References rendering, check the "Open the Properties dialog box immediately" and press "Select" button. In the Control Properties window press Browse link under Data Source field. In the Select the Associated Content window select needed References Root data source item and press OK for all opened windows.
